Prescription Pad (dynamic-prescription) is a free, open-source, local-first web app for doctors who write on their own printed pads. Some pads have the chamber letterhead already printed and others are plain paper, and they come in many sizes. The doctor describes the pad once in a four-step setup wizard (paper size in mm, cm or inches; pre-printed or plain; header and footer zones, margins and a clinical-notes column; letterhead text) and calibrates it with a 100 mm test print, so every prescription then lands in the right place on the paper. Writing is built for speed: a standard South Asian layout with a ℞ column, drug autocomplete that remembers each drug's usual dose, timing and duration, one-tap dose and duration chips, Enter-to-advance, follow-up chips, templates (order sets) and one-click repeat of recent prescriptions. A live to-scale preview warns when content overflows the pad and can shrink the text in one click, and printing uses an exact @page size. There is no backend or account: pads, drafts, templates and history stay in the browser, so patient data never leaves the device. Rebuilt from an older drag-and-drop canvas with a rich-text editor into a lean Angular 22 app (standalone components, signals, zoneless, about 231 kB). MIT licensed.
